what is the best basic software to clip and fade mp3s?
loooking to clip a mp3 with a fade
wondered what was the easiest way of doing this?

I use the Nero Wave Editor (works on MP3 as well as WAV, and has fade, cut, all the functions you need) in the Nero Burning ROM program, it is included as part of the program (I think it's in v.5.5 as well as 6.0). There are other audio editors out there, such as Cool Edit Pro, Sound Forge, etc. but just for basic editing you can't beat something like Nero. I think there is a similar function in Easy CD Creator that will do the same thing.
