  1. anyone know what program will allow to make a green or blue screen overlay? Preferably one that has settable tolerance on how "green" the background can be.

  2. I used Vegas Video for this and it works great! With a good deal of tolerance that even worked with my blue sheet from Walmart! hahah Yep... a sheet. Not very great results cuz of my lighting, but it still rocked. I think if you're using something a little bit more hi-tek, with some fair lighting, you'll get fantastic results.
I managed to use it to make a video of my severed head in my hand talking that was pretty cool. I had wrapped a blu shirt around my head to do it and then covered my body for the overlay video. Very neat. Good luck!
Oh, Vegas Video is made by Sonicfoundry BTW

I can't even recall! haha I burned out on hobby #24,681 (video creation/editing/blue-screening) about 2 1/2 years ago. So whatever version was out then, I used. It HAS to be a great program now! haha I recall taking the .pdf manual to work and printing it out over the course of a few nights on their HP laserjet. 400+ pages. Ahh, the memories..

  5. Looked quickly in the program yesterday, couldn't find the function, but I assume that you must use two overlay videos with an alpha channel or something...

I think there was a thread on the subject down in the editing forum, you might want to look down there.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
