DVD Lab Help Please

Hi all

I have just burned a dvd-r using DVD Lab. Compiled it in DVD Lab and then burned it using Nero (DVD Lab would'nt burn a dvdr directly I got a few errors - I dont think it could work with my Pioneer A06, although it did recognise it).

Well the DVD plays fine in both of my stand alone DVD players, but it won't play on my PC with Power DVD, just locks and refuses to play.
Has anyone else had this happen?

What version of DVD-Lab are you using. The newest 1.3 Beta has a fix in it for problems with PowerDVD. Make sure you have that downloaded.

I also have the same problem when I burn a DVDMaestro compiled project. I think it may be to do with how I am burnning with Nero.

I chose "DVD Video" from the compilation window in Nero, is that correct? or is that just for playing in stand alone DVD players? Maybe I should have chosen "DVD ROM (ISO)" so that it would also play on my PC - I don't know I'm only a newbie.

There is a thread on this topic that explains how your are not suppose to use DVD video in Nero. Do a search for the thread. You need to burn using DVD-UDF and make sure you pick UDF 1.02 instead of 1.05.

That will fix it.

that depends on what version of Nero you're talking about.

I had that problem with 5.5.10.07, once I upgraded to 5.5.10.28 I have had no further problems using the DVD Video template in Nero.
