From my understanding, Shrink opens up a new window, and you drag over the titles from the window with the titles on it. At least thats how I've done it

I tried the split window dragging over and had two main movie files which were 3,108 gig went to only 767 megs so where did the rest go. All the help place I found only show you how to use the older versions.

Or just post the screenshoot of the two windows like I did so we could have a look at it.

sporlan, I made a very rough guide to re-authoring with DVD Shrink v3.0 beta (as the final release will most likely have a different interface).
I don't know how much it will help as you seem to have done everything right.

One cause of your problem might be the titles you dragged to the re-author window might have shared some of their content with other titles.
Try the "Combine shared titles" option in the "View" menu.
