    I'm using version 2 of TMPGEnc to convert from AVI to SVCD. After converstion I get no video only audio on the playback. Any help would be appreciated.

    did you make sure that next to the audio/video inputs you checked system, not just audio?

    is the playback on your pc or on your standalone dvd?
    if on pc do you have a dvd player package like powerdvd installed, and if yes have you tried opening the svcd in that.

    I have WINDVD3 which does not play back the file. When encoding with TMPGenc I cannot preview the video before or after file conversion. Thanks

    I've solved the problem by increasing the priority of the vfw-reader in the environmental settings of TMPGenc.
