  1. What other software will let me capture at 720x480 besides Virtualdub, WinDVR and PowerVCR 2? I would really like to find something that is freeware or shareware. Any suggestions?

Almost all of it will if your hardware can handle it.

  4. I could not get Virtualdub to do it. It would give me an error message when trying to capture at that particular resolution. Windvr 2 would not let me but Windvr 3 would. I only have the trial version of it and I don't want to spend $80 on it just for that feature.

  6. Yes, I read it. I just got done capturing with it and it looks very good. I am losing frames once in a while though and the audio does not sound as good as I think it should. It is somewhat distorted. How can I fix the audio to sound better and are there any settings I should change to stop the frame dropping. I have a P4 2.53 with 128mb RAM.

  7. are you using onboard sound? that can contribute to poor audio...i capture at 48khz stereo and it sounds fine....

you might be dropping frames cos you're not capping to a separate drive...check the sticky thread about why your system drops frames....the problems you are talking about has been covered extensively in this forum so try searching...you'll get tons of info
