  1. whenever i drag a mpg to the compilation window, it would analyze the mpg first before it let me burn, is there any way i can make nero bypass this analyzing thing?

  3. Just try unchecking the "Create Standard Compliant CD". Then Nero will do a minimal MPEG1 checking.

because it would be a lot faster to burn a vcd without it

that doesn't work, it still analyze in which appears to be the same amount of time it takes when i had it checked, so no difference, but thx for the response

  5. errrrrrr....

nero analyzes the .mpg file for a reason. you CAN'T bypass it...and you shouldn't want to either.

nero is checking the .mpg file to make sure it's standard (S)VCD.... if it isn't standard, nero will give you range of options (i.e. 1. re-encode to standard - very BAD as nero does a piss-poor job of encoding 2. burn it as non-standard, compliant)

you want nero to make sure its standard and burn it as standard because standard (S)VCD have the highest dvd player compatibility. it only takes a couple min. to analyze....have patience.
