Hi, I am new to Adobe 6.0 I have been trying to transfer my video frm my SONY TRV110E to computer via 1 Firewire card through Adobe 6.0
However the video is choppy or looks watery and when I playback with Windows Media player 9.0 it is the same. Am I missing some codecs here?
Pls help

hello sir
i read your problem in using adobe premiere 6.01
i was thinking did you try out all the codec for your avi format ?
or you can alway try getting this plugins for your premiere - mpeg plugins
it works better for exporting to mpeg format than raw avi format
the other method would be export it to raw avi then re encode to mpeg format
email me if you have questions

If you are playing a DV-AVI in Media Player, you are seeing the Interlace effect of the video played on a progressive monitor. On a TV, you won't notice it. If you have PowerDVD on your PC, try playing it there. PowerDVD has a built-in Deinterlce filter for playback.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
