Hello,
I captured video from a HI8 camcorder (using the pass through feature of my mini dv camera). I captured in Premiere 6.5. However, when I view the video in the Monitor (Premiere), it's very choppy (ie, seems to skip frames) and there is no sound. HOWEVER, when I open the .avi in windows media player, it plays fine. Any idea what is going on?
Thanks,
TMann

Does Premiere also play choppy when you cap a MiniDV tape?
This doesn't sound like a capture issue. I'd guess your project setting isn't set to DV.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
