Hello! I have finished my first project on S8 and it is 55 minutes long. I am ready to burn to DVD. I started the "make disc" process to burn directly to disc but it is still not finished rendering...I started at 4:30 am and it is now 9:50am...5 hrs and 20 mins...is that normal to render 55 mins? I have a P4 2.4 Ghz w/ 512 ram and dedicated hard drive for capturing. What is proper procedure? Do I create image first and then burn later (is this faster)? Is this normal for S8 to take this long? Please advise. What are alternatives to burning after I finish a project on S8?
Thanks in advance.![]()

It has to render/encode, then compile, then burn in that order.
I suggest you see the Pinnacle Studio 8 webboard.
