  1. Hi, I'm using Premiere 6.5 and Cinemacraft encoder 2.66 for exporting a video to DVD, and I'm quite surprised at the results I get.

In the video I'm exporting, the image looks fine until a single point is reached, and after that, the whole image looks really bad, in a very blocky way with lots of artifacts (given the bitrate it has of 7.000 kbps). After that, the encoder keeps giving bad results even if I cancel and export the project again. Only closing and restarting Premiere makes the encoder give good results again, but that is until the video reaches that point and starts producing bad images again.

I've tried every kind of compression settings for CCE, I've tried the standalone version (frameserving with avisynth), I've even tried Premiere 6.0, with no good results. I even cleaned my CPU fan thinking it could be a heat problem (I decreased the temperature from 60 to 50 ºC but it didn't help). Anyone has the same problem and, specially, a solutoin for me?

    Thanks in advance.

PD: Don't point me towards TMPGEnc, because this encoder has other issues with my standalone DVD player and I cannot use it.

Why not use the MainConcept encoder that comes with Premeire 6.5?
I use it all the time and get excellent quality. Go to they're site and download v1.3 update. It's 30% faster with the same quality on my tests.

    Good Luck!
