No seek complete error.....with nero and sony dru500 ax...

Hi, this is my first post here,
two week ago, i' ve bought a sony dru500 ax, then i 've tried to burn the dvd +rw, selled with it with the last version of nero the 5.5.10.28, and it works fine.
Then later, i've bought some Verbatim dvd-r and it works fine too, instead some days ago i had bought some that's write 4x ""certified"", and the result it' s a little disaster.
Because, when the burning process starts, then line of progress is blocked at 1%, and after 2 or 3 minutes, Nero show me this message:
No seek complete, burning failed......and the dvd-r is lost....
Well i've wrote to Sony, and they told me, to use the software gived with the dru500ax, so yesterday i tried this way, using the RecordNow of Veritas, something appened, because the line of progress shows me a nice 9%, but at this point, another terrific message appear......burning process failed...error, put another disk into the drive.......what?!?!

If anyone of you has suggestion for me, it will be very appreciated...

Do not use NERO...use RecordNow DX that came with the drive instead.

Actually it could be that you have to update your firmware.

I had huge problems when I used NERO so I tried RecordNow instead and have not had any problems since then, I have burned the following media:

Infinity DVD-R printable
Infinity DVD+R silvertop
Verbatim DVD+R silvertop
Verbatim DVD-R (2x) printable
Ritek DVD+R Printable
Princo DVD-R (2x)

Verbatim DVD+RW
Sony DVD+RW
Ricoh DVD+RW
PrimeDisc DVD+RW

The ones that did not work in NERO was Verabtim DVD+R and Princo DVD-R, both of these worked just fine with RecordNow DX. As you can see have I not burned any 4x media yet so it might be that I run in to problems with RecordNow DX when I do get around to burn some.

By the way I use Firmware 2.0c.
