And yes, i am using a pirated version. I did reinstall, could launch it once and the error came next time i clicked on the icon.

And you seriously expect help from people who have paid for it?

My recommendation would have been to connect Sony - the Vegas support team are very helpful (I my experience) but you wouldn't want to do that, would you?

Well, yeah... but as I am not so pro at video editing i can't afford myself that kind of expensive program.. I use minority of the options vegas can give me... and in the other hand windows movie maker cannot satisfy my needs... Surely i would buy the program if I get pro at this, because it's best of a kind... but not right now.

Part of joys of using software from dubious sources is you cannot guarantee the quality of it, cannot keep it patched and up to date, and cannot get support. Discussion of pirated video or software is in contravention of the forum rules and could get you a warning or even banned from the site.

If you only use a subset of Vegas' toolset then you might consider buying the much cheaper Platinum version, which is aimed more at your market.
