As shown in the thread below, my TBC-3000 does not correct distortions in vertical lines caused by time base errors. Does anyone have an external TBC that does? If so, can you post some caps showing the correction it does? TIA

I actually use both an external TBC, and a JVC vcr with TBC because the JVC's TBC will do digital noise reduction too, and prevent the vertical bending you are talking about. I am not aware of any external unit other than a VCR that can eliminate the vertical bending from VHS tapes.
