    Hi all,

    Please, if the timelines haven't chapters and there are many timelines, how can I set what happens when I press the "next" button on the remote while watching a movie ?

    What is exactly the "override" setting ?

    The preview function has a "next chapter" button, but when I press it nothing happens cause my timelines have no chapters, I have various timelines that are linked to each other through the "end action" setting, but I wonder...what will happen on the actual player if I press the "next" button while watching any of the movies (timelines) ?
    Will it go to the same point stated as the "end action" setting ?

    Please, any help will be very apreciated;

    Thanks,

    Zetti

    Nothing, most likely. The next button usually won't skip titles. If you want it to, add a single chapter on the last frame (or as close as possible) of each movie so that next appears to skip titles.

    I've realized (burned on RW media) that presssing the "next" button on the remote control makes the disc to jump to the timelines following the order they appear on the project window,

    So, I thought that, putting them on the project window on the desired order, things would be OK. This window seems to arrange the assets by alphabetic order, so I renamed all timelines adding an "A", "B", "C", etc according to the timelines that I want first, second, etc;

    But it didn't work, the timeline assets appears now in the desired order at the projects screen, but the disc keeps the old behaviour...

    Please, as Encore follows the order the timelines initially appeared on the screen, there must be a way to do it as desired;

    Any help will be very apreciated,

    Thanks,

  4. Its simple.

    First import assets(mpg,mpeg,mv2,) Import as Timeline will be first Title on DVD player.
    Second import assets Import as Timeline will be Title 2 on DVD player.
    Third import assets Import as Timeline will be Title 3 on DVD player.
    And its go on....

    You cannot change order Titles in Encore if you not import assets right.
    Just delete assets and timelines from project and import assets again the
    correct one.

    For example you have 5 mpeg2 files named: A01.mpg,B01.mpg,C01.mpg,
    D01.mpg,E01.mpg.
    And you want this order on DVD:
    B01.mpg - Title 1
    A01.mpg - Title 2
    E01.mpg - Title 3
    D01.mpg - Title 4
    C01.mpg - Title 5

    On encore File =>> New Project
    Right click on project import asset and select Import as Timeline
    Select B01.mpg file and click Open

    Right click on project import asset and select Import as Timeline
    Select A01.mpg file and click Open

    Right click on project import asset and select Import as Timeline
    Select E01.mpg file and click Open

    Right click on project import asset and select Import as Timeline
    Select D01.mpg file and click Open

    Right click on project import asset and select Import as Timeline
    Select C01.mpg file and click Open

    Hi Roma,

    THANKS A LOT, actualy I have clarified this by myself yesterday

    Also, let me say that you can DO indeed change the order if you have imported in the wrong order, just open all timelines and drag-n-drop them to correct order as desired, I've tried that and it worked

    Thanks again,
