    I have this problem:
i want to edit a button on my dvd menu but when i move my mouse over it
    the button changes (OnMouseOver option).
    look at the picture(uploaded).

    My question is:
is there a way to undo this mouseover?
can i make this menu only with the black text with no mouseover ability?

    thanks in advanced.

I forgot to mention, i use DvdReMakePro 3.5.3
So if there is an easy way to do that using that software it'll be great.

If you want to remove highlighting (this also disables button function), use 'hide button' command from right-click on button menu.

If you want to keep button function you can change to black both (select/activate) highlight colors in CLUT tab (right-click/edit color).

There is no "mouse over" function in DVDs. How a menu reacts to a "mouse over" action is down to the software player. It is also a poor way to test playback because it does not emulate in any way the functions of a real DVD player, which of course does not have a mouse.

    It depends on your goal.

As mentioned, you can hide or delete a button in dvdremake.

If you want to remove the button (example: removed audio tracks), then simply remove/delete it. I believe that the "hide" feature merely stops the button from being highlighted, in case you want a "secret" button.

I could be wrong, as I haven't used it in a while, but I do remember accidentally making non-highlighted buttons.

Remember to keep a dvd-rw handy to test it out on a stand-alone and eliminate coasters.

Hiding a button also disables its functioning. Deleting does the same but may need navigation adjusment since remaining button numbers can change. In both cases only background image for button remains. For creating a hidden button (without highlighting) in DVDRemake any place in background (free from subpictures remaining after deleting/hiding buttons) can be used and any size of active rectangular set ('add button' command).
