Very much possible, yes. Depending on what you use to play on your computer.
AutoGK will reencode with hard subtitles, whereas sub2divx just multiplexes the sub into the container.
how i can manage the subtitle's vertical position when i use AutoGK?( i convert the subtitle in .ssa file for manage the font size
AFAIK, you can specify position of the subs in an .ssa file. If the rendering engine (AutoGK in this case) respects this is another story.

    Hi,

I have the same problem with Sub2DivX.
After the program is done, the subtitles do not show up in the DivX-file.
I tried it in Windows Media Player and BSPlayer on the computer and in my JVC SAP.
I tried it with 2 different AVI's/subtitles, I tried changing the PAL/NTSC setting, I tried raising the vertical position to 96, nothing works....

I am currently running AGK but it takes a lot longer and I don't know if the movie turns out okay. There are a lot of people posting in this forum about problems with AVI-files that were subbed with AGK (out of sync, no audio, etc.)

So I'd really like Sub2Divx to work, because it seems to be a lot easier and faster to work with.

    Can anybody help me?

[Edit] blimey, it IS working! Just had to push the subtitle-button on my SAP-remote.... Y'all can forget this post

  12. i tried everything and the sub is not shown at all ,,i tried ntsc and pal ,,i put the vertical postion at 96 ,,i dont know what to do now ? i also burn the divx file with the subtitle file ,,doesnt work ? should i add the subtitle in nero or just the divx file by itself ? although i tried both and pressed the subtitle button in the remote and no use..the same problem is there ..can u guide me with the steps please ? by the way the sub file is written in arabic ,and the main reason im using sub2divx is to attach the subtitle written in arbic language while i dont have to use the program when i add the english subtitle coz the player can read it,and therefore i chose the lang arabic in the top bar in the sub2divx program ..any way im sorry for bothering u with this ,but i really hope i can find a solution..thx a lot

more than that i cannot tell you...try put exactly same name to sub like a movie...if you want put a sub on an avi use AutoGK..is very simply to use...for add subtitle press ctrl+F8 and if do you want manage the size or vertical position use the .ssa tipe for subtitle...and, no problem for my time...like you, i asked on my time and people from here was good and respond at my problem
