I have not come accross asingle movie I have not been able to rip yet.
AnyDVD 5.7.2.1
Instead of struggling like so many others here seem to do, just get yourself the latest version of this tool. Rin it and DVDsrhink the hell out of it.
Every single movie that creates hug threads I was able to rip the very 1st attempt. The right tool will defeat whatever these A holes come up with.No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
I agree, I used the new dvdfabdecrypter out today and had no problem backing up mY copy. That and good ol shrink.
-
There is a BIG highlighted topic by the mods on I can't back up this dvd with dvdshrink, dvddecrypter, etc....
-
Used DVDFab Decrypter and the cave worked fine---but "the Wedding Crashers" decrypted fine, but Shrink would not work. Kept giving 4 200mb vob files instead of main movie. Tried to rerip movie only, didn't work. Abyone else???
-
Yep, must be some other reason because i did them both like this,
Wedding Crashers "Uncorked" - "DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.5 & DVD Shrink 3.2"
The Cave - "DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.5 & DVD Shrink 3.2"
Did not even update to the next version of DVDFab Decrypter yet.
Just finished watching The Cave BU.
Again, NO ANYDVD 8) -

Can not shrink "THE CAVE" shrink reports a file size of over 5gb...
And 'Wedding Crashers' - "The Uncorked Version" once shrinked/burned has real troubles at the points of added info over the 'Theater Version'.....
Tried "IfoEdit" and "VOBBlanker" just opening, processing at the 'factory settings' and saving the files and not doing any personel changes to the files.

So what are you doing different? Are you using "DL" disc? -
I am for main movies only.
Main movie is 4174 MB and 100% including all audio tracks. So after leaving one I need its even smaller (4164 MB) -

And when i did the cave i did movie only, but when i had it opened in shrink it gave me no problem for the size to do a whole disc BU.
But i will try the whole disc again and burn to see what heppens 8) -

So you are admitting to copying RENTAL movies in this forum????
That takes huge balls! No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
I sense dirtybirdz is going to be leaving us for a bit.
Copying rentals is a violation of the law and can result in jail time and hefty fines. -
if you read what i wrote, i never admitted it, i was just stating what options are out there, think before you accuse...........
-
i actually do spend a lot of money on dvds buying and backing them up...but if you have a good job, and you watch it, your fine....dont take your penny pinching problems out on me. 8)
-
in that case, the videos are $22.99, $24.99, $22.99, plus blanks. Even if you didn't steal them, you are advocating Warez which is a violation of the forum rules. If you did steal them think about everyone you are hurting by your theft. If you like the movies that much support your actors, production people, and those who create the packaging and contents by purchasing the meida.
Don't recommend theft on a site dedicated to video. -
fair enough, i shouldnt of said that option, my fault, but like i said, i do spend a lot of money to support them and back them up.
