I just finished successfully ripping, "The Longest Yard" using DVDDecrypter w/AnyDVD. Are you using the latest version 5.5.1.1. of AnyDVD?

You could also try DVD Fab Decrypter and then shrink it to fit on a 4.7 GB DVD with DVD Shrink in file mode.

DVD Decrypter alone works fine on the R1 of the Longest Yard, try it without AnyDVD.

DVDFab Decrypter was updated for "Lords Of Dogtown" & worked perfectly on "Bewitched" for me, without ever even having Anydvd on my system.
And "The Longest Yard" is from awhile ago so doubt it has anything to do with needing DVDFab Decrypter to be updated

Is the disc roughed up at all ??
And at what point is it stalling out ??
And what Sifaga said, try another drive if you have one.

Sounds like a disc problem. If it won't rip after cleaning, I would go back to the place of purchase and exchange it for a new copy, stating it is defective.

  9. I did mine without any problems. Used dvddecrypter and dvd2one then i tried dvd shrink to see if it would give a problem. It didn't.

    Note to self:

If eating pizza, wipe hands before loading the DVD
    If in doubt, Google it.
