So, how many posts about Saw 4 will we get?
Anyone else sick of the "I can't rip [latest title] with DVDDecrypter" type threads? At least they could wait a couple of days so it doesn't seem so obvious. "And hurry up! I have to get this back to Blockbuster soon!"

So what's the deal with Saw 4? "New" "unbeatable" encryption?

It was the only one coming out (today) to which I thought the rippers would flock.

Don't most people have pretty quick internet connections these days? Correct me if I'm wrong but if they own the movie and are allowed to back up their copy are they not allowed to just download a copy of it already transcoded off the net?
And if they're simply pirating it... well the same applies and they didn't even need to bother with going out to get itFB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
NAILED IT! (see gadgetguy above)
Too bad Baldrick himself assisted.
The backup question is still in a grey area (not quite tested yet). That being said, a person would still need to use their own copy of the disc to manipulate it. They can't download it, since the distribution isn't authorized, and it's someone else's copy.
That was pretty much the point: Tuesday being the New Release date for most media (games, movies, music, etc.) -
I never (knowingly) assist anyone in circumventing any sort of copy protection.

We should start a weekly pool. Place bets on which movies get the most new posts within 36 hours of release. More obvious movies have lower pay-out, but more unlikely titles have higher pay-outs.
