Hi, I have been backing up some of my old blu rays using the "Rip Video DVD to hard disk" option of Anydvd HD, and everything has been going 100% fine. Today, I tried ripping a blu ray (from 2007) but I get this error message after 26%:
Error Reading from drive D:!
Why is it doing this? I have tried it multiple times, but I get this error message after 26% every time I can PLAY the blu ray fine (in powerdvd.. provided I have anydvd running in the background).. but it won't let me rip the contents to my hdd
I tried using dvdfab8... but that also gives me an error message
What could the problem be? can you think of any solutions?
thanks

I'd examine the disc closely for scratches. Players can ignore small dropouts, but a data transfer may stall on the same errors.
