Hi, i am a newbie and i really need some help. Here is the situation:
I purchased a LG external blu ray writer from discmakers. When i connect it to my old pentium 4 laptop with Windows XP, i have no trouble burning my blu ray dvd with IMGBurn using my usb port. But, when i connect it to my HP intel dual core laptop with Vista Home Premium 64 bit, IMGBurn gives me the message "Device not ready, medium may have changed". This happens when i place a blank BD-R disc into the burner. As soon as i take it out and put a dvd 5 or dvd 9, then everything is great and i can burn those discs with no problems. All applications freeze up when i place the BD-R into the burner.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
