Tried latest dvdfab decrypter? And are you using LATEST anydvd beta version?
-
I downloaded DVDFab HD Decrypter beta 4.0.5.1 and it worked for Saw IV. It also works on "the game plan" too, just did both.
-
I was able to get The Game Plan with 4.0.5.1, but Saw 4 brings up the "Open Media Source" box, and just keeps cycling through the read cycle. If I select "Main Movie", it will start, but fail at .3%.
-
Also having problem with "Saw 4" as well as "War," tried to make sure all things are updated. DVD Decrypter is not going to ever be updated. Also having same problem with "open media source" box but not responding.

Try Rip It 4 Me, and it setup properly, if it ask you to clean disk, say no and continue.
It will rip it and say it did not scan all areas, ignore this warning and continue, or use ISO Buster.
Don't use Wizard Mode, use one click mode, it is easy, only rip the movie to your computer, not all the disk.
The movie bought at 4am and ripped by 5 AM and finished off just before going to work. -
Oh last idea make sure you have fixiVTS installed and setup in the right order. Other wise it will not work.
Look up tool setup by hand.
Tool one FixSTS
Tool two DVD Dcrypter
Tool three DVD Shrink
Good Luck
FixVTS ... http://fixvts.en.softonic.com/ -
Are this things spelled right? (The tool list) and do you put them in the tool setup by hand?
-
When I used on automatic without setep, it did not work for me so I went in and setup by hand, it worked.
The other way refused to work on my Dual Xeon machine, so I installed it on my Core 2 Quad 4 fresh install.
Worked first time when using "One Click Mode, not "Wizard.
Second it will tell you using version 1.7.1 of RIPIt4ME that it missed sector or something, igonre this warning with NO and continue with one click mode to finish and view, I watched the DVD this morning afterwards on Daemon monuted image.
Player was KMPlayer, good freeware for testing DVD processed images for frame drop and many other things.
I hope this was helpful -

Ok so everything worked just fine for me, no errors no nothing when writing. I put the disc in the DVD player on my TV and there is an error "the disc you inserted is not the correct format" Works just fine on the laptop though.

@ Dabeers,
AnyDVD running in the background generally works fine with DVD Shrink, but some of the newer Sony/Lionsgate releases that members have posted problems with (Saw4, Mr. Woodcock, 3:10 to Yuma etc) require that you use the AnyDVD ripper (included with purchase of AnyDVD) to rip the files to your hard drive before opening in Shrink/Nero Recode. The AnyDVD ripper includes a lot of the functionality of FixVTS and is able to repair the whacked-out DVD structures when ripping. There's a regularly updated sticky with background on this issue and a list of such titles at:
