Hi I had a VOB folder and was advised by another member to use VOB2MPG in order to get just 1 file which worked great but the file now being a movie file is 190Mb (same size as the VOB folder).

What can be done to get it to say 4Mb? Is it an encoding issue and movie screen issue? It is to be player across standard WMP player base so pretty generic player.

Is there freeware that can do this for me?

The original clip is from a DVD which I reauthored to get the one clip via DVD shrink. Then applied the VOB2MPG software.

    Cheers

You could try loading the mpg in Windows Movie Maker, and save out as WMV.
But really - going from a 190 MB mpg2 video at let's assume 5.000 kbps to 4 MB means lowering the bitrate to around 100 kbps. If you resize down to "stamp size" video it will be OK. Possibly. Not even low resolution, low frame rate, low bitrate video for cell phones go that low.
