I am Working on an S-Video mod for a Panasonic NV-VP60GN.
As you may know this model comes with an S-Video but because Panasonic decided to be cheap it only shows video from the DVD through the S-Video.
However looking at the service manual it seems that the VCR sends pre-separated Y/C to the DVD board (for dubbing feature purposes?), going through the ribbon cable to the DVD board (Small board).
Does anyone have any advise for how I should go about finding which lines in the ribbon cable are the Y/C signals?
I have attached some pictures of the boards.
Cheers

I have one of these. Love the big bright display!
Looking forward to hearing how you get on with your modification. -
As I see it
