After using new vs of Shrink There're pixelations galore in all 7 of my conversions. Could it be due to hacked frirmware rip speed or bad media? I have used Fuji and Imation brand media with same results. Any 1 else have this problem with latest Shrink?

sounds like bad media or burning at higher speed could cause pixelations. ripping at a faster speed shouldn't have any effect on the burning process.

Well this definately defeats the use of hacked firmware.Originally Posted by budzLive Life 2 The Fullest, Live The Life U Luv & Luv The Life U Live!

It would really depend on what brand of media you use for any hacked firmware to work or not. I just burned a 4x TDK DVD-R media code TTG01 @8x speed on a pioneer 107d drive with NIL's hacked firmware. No pixelation at all and the disc it plays back fine on my standalone dvd players.Well this definately defeats the use of hacked firmware. -
You may also have overlooked the compression settings adjustment when "backing up" your dvds. The custom settings can greatly enhance the picture quality of your vids.

The setting used were maximum sharpness. Have any one tried the latest version of recode?Originally Posted by B2D327Live Life 2 The Fullest, Live The Life U Luv & Luv The Life U Live!
