Hi, happy new year.. now to the nitty gritty

Ive exported the file as a 5mb constant bit rate matrox IBP file..

then import into DVDit PE...

I make the dvd and all is well.. everything is fine.. it plays well in the dvdit test thing....

once i burn the cd and play the file back.. theres an apparant blurring.. when you pause the dvd its like a frame is cross faded to the next one.. so its showing 2 frames at once.. its only slight, obviosuly more noticeable on fast action.. but still its a little distracting.. its not an interlacing issue.. outlines of faces are smooth.. more one frame crossfaded to the next one...

im assuming dvdit is the cause as the file plays back fine from its built in test.. so when it encodes it for the dvd... thats when it introduces this effect.. is this correct? unless... i think dvdit uses my rt2000 hardware on playback- so when i test the dvd and menus in dvdit.. its using the rt2000 to decode the file.. once the dvd is made.. its using software.. so maybe im authing the file wrong our of premiere..

ive tried going into the options and selecting.. no fields.. and de-interlace... but no joy

ive used the built in windvd player.. matrox.. and power dvd and all play back the cd the same..
problem is.. any idea how to get rid of it?

this is the first time ive tried to make a cd seriously.. but now i look.. all my previous tests have this -blurring- issue.. i just never noticed it b4..

so anyone out there familar with this niggle? and know a way to fix it?

thanks for your time
cmb
