  1. Right, first off i'm sorry if this subject matter has already been covered, i searched the forum, and found nothing.

Basically, i want to burn 3 svcds to a single dvd-r. I've downloaded "a film" which is in 3 files, (bin/cue) what i want to achive, is to be able to burn all three of these bin. files to a single dvd-r, rather than 3 cds. So that i'm able to pop my dvd-r in my standalone dvd player, and watch my movie.

    Any ideas would be great

  2. I typed ' svcd to dvd ' in the search field, this is what came up:

Too many hits (12978). Try again and specify your search better, add more keywords or google search for svcd to dvd in our forum here.

    Hello,
What Faithful Follower meant was that you should have READ one of those thousands of hits first. However, here is a place to start:

    https://www.videohelp.com/convert

That should narrow it down for you.

If that's aimed at me that's a low blow

P.S. I said I was sorry, I just thought a large button for newbies might slow down obvious questions.

  6. jesus, he's just asking a question.....

if you need about 3-4hrs you should encode it at half D1 360x240 and 3500 bitrate....

BUT, better go to TOOLS and get a bitrate calculator and decide what you want.

the ideea is, that don't go lower than a 3000 bitrate for a full 720x480 resolution, you better lower the resolution and keep as high as you can the bitrate....got it ?

I'm sorry, I guess I was taking the hits too literally in that other thread. I need to lighten up a little, I guess. Have a nice day.

  9. You could also simply extract the mpg files from the bin\cue files with VCDGear and read this guide https://www.videohelp.com/svcddvdr.htm for more information about what to do...

You should also check if your dvdplayer supports dvd's with svcd... (look under DVD Players in the menu <- )
