i was turning my avi to mpg and i had 10 seconds left of the movie to go and an error came up. i went to the mpg file and it showed it was 761 mb but it only places 2 seconds i need help.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Hi,
Experience has shown me that there maybe an error within your source file.
Launch TMPGEnc and load the .AVI as the source Video and Audio file, click Settings/Advanced/Source Range and move the little slider to the right very slowly and when you get to the END, press the little LEFT arrow and you may beable to reproduce the error.
You may have a couple of options:
1. Find a program called DivFix.exe from http://www.vcdhelp.com/faq.htm#fixdivx and strip the .AVI index, then Rebuild Index, or maybe
2. If you find an error by moving the slider, you can pick the spot a split second to the right of the error and ENCODE the remaining part of the file, then rejoin with the 1st part.
