tmpgenc dvd author is my favorite. -
OK, I used tmpg to encode, then used tmpgenc dvd author to author, then I used nero to burn (following a guide on here) but hen when I play it, IT HAS NO SOUND.
I put all the files that tmpgenc dvd author created into the video_ts folder in nero, and burnt it, the menus and video is fine, but why is there no sound? what am i doin wrong?
The only thing that is different to the tutorials is that the files, created by tmpgenc dvd author are in two folders, labelled
volume 1 and volume 2
then in volume one there are two sub folders labelled AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TSbut in volume 2 there is only one sub folder, labelled VIDEO_TS
what do I do with these files? -
when u tmpgenc'd the files did u get seperate video & audio or just 1 per movie half. sounds gotta be 48000 bits or watever.
u can use dvd lab to load up the 2 half movies, either with sound in 1 file or add it seperate to each movie, then compile as 1 movie.
gotta add a movie for part 2 in this and join em.
use a virtual drive to play the vob files in power dvd,to check sound pics ect.
saves wasting disks -
huh??? I just encoded 3 avis with tmpgenc, then put them together with a menu in tmpgenc dvd author, now i dont know what to do,
I had to put in the location of the video AND audio files when I uesd tmpgenc DVD author -

It sounds like something has gone amiss in the encoding stage if you don't have audio. As mentioned, if you still have the MPEG-2 files that you create with TMPGEnc Plus, try playing them on your computer. Does it have sound ?If in doubt, Google it.
