I have an Intel D845WN mobo with a P4, 2.6GHZ set up with Intel Application Accelerator v2.3 installed. I've been reading alot about enabling DMA on hard drives to improve performance, but DMA is not available if you're using Intel Application Accelerator.
Does anyone know if removing Intal Application Accelerator and enabling DMA on my hard drives would give me the best performance, and if so, what would be the procedure?
Thanks,
Bruce

Goto: Start - All Programs and you should find a short cut to "Intel Application Accelerator" you can set it there.
