if you say so :P In my experience, if you have more than one installed, your system tends to act like it's on vacation.

If your not getting any problems with either it shouldn't matter.
Are you having problems or just asking?

Most people here probably have various burning apps on their PCs.
DVD Decrypter has a built in burner as does TMPGenc DVD Author and probably many others.

Personnaly, I prefer Nero in my computer and alcohol in me. But this is very subjective.

  8. i usually have no problems with multiple burning programs installed. I have blindwrite 5, clonecd, and nero burning rom and there's been no problem with drivers clashing. It's either luck for me or whatever......

Alcohol 120% is great for copying. It can even circumvent several CD-ROM encryption schemes for backing up games. It's also good for reading and writing several image formats in addition to being able to mount them to a virtual drive so that you don't have to put the CD in your drive. That said, it has co-existed with Nero on my system flawlessly for quite some time. I even have Discjuggler installed and the 3 programs have never conflicted. I think the problems start when you have multiple packet writing software like those found in Nero and EZ CD maker.

Yeah, I have loads of Burner software. I have Roxio Easy Media Creator 7, Nero 6, DVD Decryptor, CloneDVD, Alcohol 120%, DVD FAB, and a few others.

I haven't really experienced any problems, however, I do have some reading errors but I don't think it has to do with having multiple burner software.
