The whole story of where 'bugster' came from is too long for me to be bothered typing at the mo, but basically its short for 'bug buster' and came from a comment made by a fellow programmer at work (I thought he was being complimentary...)
The avatar, well, its just something I found on the net after Indolikaa made some comment about mods with no avatars in a recent thread.

@ teegee420 - I was gonna ask what the Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri-Lanka looked like, but bugster's avatar is what I'd imagine...

Go on bugster, spill the beans - I'm up late too...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

I think I remember that one. My favourite was always the pilot episode...Originally Posted by teegee420There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

In checking those threads out, I got quite a laugh as many of the explainations for their avatar, no longer match their avatar as it has changed since their post.

That pissed on my fireworks! I'm sure there'll be others in the future... Mind you, it's nice to see that some of those who took part in some or all of those previous ones have done so in this one (not having a dig at you).Originally Posted by Craig Tucker

gitreel, because some people including myself from tiime to time need to gitreel. Marvin the martian, because I have always thought he was cool. I try (don't always succeed) not to take life seriously. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

Have you seen the new Duck Dodgers on Cartoon Network? It's the best thing that ever happened the Marvin Martian character and great for Daffy fans too. I Highly recommend it.Originally Posted by gitreel

Hmmmmm. *strokes beard*
Sinclair would have told him when B4 accidentally went into the future. or delenn would have sent a message back to him somehow (cos she lived for ages! 500 years i seem to remember?) -

Pretty sure I menitoned this in the last thread like this but...
Flaystus was just what my old BBS handle eventually evolved into because it was taken everywhere on the net I went. No problems with flaystus except for one time I was signing up for something I had forgotten I had signed up for before lol.
My avatar? well minus the recently added hand and Ipod with headphones, its a crop from a first edition cover of Nine Princes in Amber, which is a great book everyone should read, and then at least the next 4 after it to finish the story, short books too! -
Ok I'm still getting over the fact that TV jipped me out of the rest of that series, stop before the wound reopens!Originally Posted by teegee420

they didn't show it all over there? shame! having said that series 5 was the least interesting, and series 4 the best by far

I know crusade was cut short, but that's no real loss.... -
Oh they showed it, but they moved it to cable at a time when I had no cable.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

ah... ok.
got shown on good old channel four over here, constantly being re-run on Bravo. the dvd's are out now, too. -
I know, but DVD are expensive right now for me. Kinda on a budget, its one of those series I plan to finish eventually and haven't gotten around to yet. I do however own season 1.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

I got upto somewhere in season two before I quit it. When they finally did a normal VHS release I sold those, which is good cause after that everyone starting making the DVD Switch. -
they also had a release on laser, but i could never seem to find the whole set over here.
I suppose $85 a pop is a bit much, but something like stargate costs £60 a series over here, that's $106!
im glad i can just rent them and watch them instead
