I'm running Win2k service pack 2. When I use my WinTV 401 card after a fresh boot, it works fine, but when I hibernate and then dehibernate I lose the sound. I've tried using the Audioselec program mentioned elsewhere here. If, when a video program is not running, I choose the 'radio' setting I can hear the sound fine, but loading WinTV2000, or loading Virtual Dub and then switching to capture mode, causes the sound to drop out. Any help in beating this would be great, I love the hibernate function.

It turns out it is more complicated. What happens when I shut down the program, hibernate, dehibernate
and then start up wintv2000 is that I get no sound until I start the audio select program and choose the 'radio' button. But then I only get a mono signal. Strange. Also, when I change the channel I lose the sound, but get
it back when I open up audio select.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to do a more complete job of shutting down wintv2000 before hibernation? Is anyone aware of any processes that might continue on after the program is closed, but which I could end with the task manager?
