  1. Using the AIW card, and I have no sound, no matter what I try. I have made sure all the vloume controls are right and nothing muted.

The only thing I can think of, is The AIW adapter has a spot for right and left audio RCA jacks, but my vcr only has 1 audio out.

    Could this be the poroblem?

  2. Your VCR is mono basicly, and your Audio card is stereo, and I believe you are attempting to capture as Stereo, and the card is not getting the signal, but since you said you are not getting audio at all, I believe you just forgot to unmute the Line-On of your Audio Card, and therefor it's not transmitting any audio

  3. Actually it could be that but it also could be this. AIW doesn't have any direct way to communicate with your sound card. It will work fine with games where the data isn't ported through the video card. With capture though you have to give it a link to the soundcard directly. There is an adapter cable that came with your AIW. It has like four different dongles attached to the one cable and it plugs into the 'out' port of your AIW. Plug that in and plug the cable that looks like a headphone jack into the aux or line-in port on your soundcard. Voila! You have sound. When I installed my card it took me an hour to figure that out....annoying considering it says NOTHING about that in the install guide....

  4. Actually, even if you do that and the Line-In of the Audio Card is muted, it still won't work
