Hi all.
I need to copy some home videos from VHS to DVD. At first i was thinking about somehow connecting a vhs player to my laptop and then playing the vhs tape, and recording on my laptop somehow. Then a friend of mine told me he got a dvd/vhs combi player, Panasonic NV-VP33 which he thinks can copy vhs to dvd, but hes not definitely sure. Anyone know if this player is able to transfer VHS to DVD? If not, what is the easiest way to do it with my laptop? Thanks for all the help. Im a complete noob at this.

Combo players usually aren't the best quality units. If you already have a decent VCR then it would be better to just get a decent DVD recorder and hook them together.
