TMPGEnc Encoding

After encoding a movie file to MPEG-2 and trying to author it in TMPGEnc Author I was given a error message SEQUENCE HEADER not recognized when using TMPGEnc dvd source creator. Please select dvd by select format. What does this mean? I could find no place where you select or set the sequence header.

This an error that you cannot ignore in DVD Author.

In TMPGEnc GOP Structure tab where you see "output interval of sequence header" choose 1.

After this you should be OK... of course, you´ll have to reencode the file

If the error is simply that there is no sequence header, you need to follow jkapa's advice when encoding; however, you can follow this procedure https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/126292.php and save having to redo this time. The guide refers to VCD/Mpeg1, simply change the option to Mpeg2 in Merge & Cut .
