  1. I am having trouble converting some .mov files that i downloaded from ign.com. I used Tmpgenc 2.01.30.116 but it crashed or came up with an error message when i tried to convert the .mov files (i did install the mov reader file). It works with avi files so i decided to convert the mov files to avi files with quicktime but the quality was severly degraded. Is there an encoder that will do this mov to mpeg converting or even a vcd burner that allows movs aswell as avis and mpegs. I'd be glad for some help

  2. I haven't had any problems using Quicktime to convert to an .AVI, make sure when you export you check the options button, set no compression, millions of colors, quality Best, and frame rate 29.97. Like I said with these settings, and a good original, I've had flawless results!
