How can I remove the station logo from movie

Hi i have some television shows on vhs that im transferring to dvd. on the tape shows the station logo pops up for 7 seconds (example Nick at Night logo) Is there a way I can maybe cut out that logo so it wont appear on dvd copy im transferring it to.

You can do it a couple of ways, but neither are going to be really great. If you have a good video editor, you can put an overlaid video track with something to block it out, or you could use virtualdub with an avisynth script and logoway or delogo filter. Check the tools section for web sites on how this is done with each software package.

In my experience, having the logo blocked out is more annoying than leaving it, so I never end up doing it.
