xbox wont read dvd?

Hi, I just bought the OPTORITE DD0203 and works great. The only problem I am having is that the dvd's it writes wont play on my xbox. They will play on my dvd player. My buddy has the NEC ND-1100A and the dvd's it writes will work on my xbox. I updated my firmware and it still wont work. Is there anything I can do? or can you tell me why it don't work? Thanks

what are you writing them with? If Nero, check that you check that box for 'force xbox compatibility mode'.

Or search this forum for 'xbox'...

I tried nero and copytodvd. I didint know there was an option for xbox in nero. Where would I find it?

My X-box was picky about the media it did play Kypermedia but was very choppy at the end of the movie. Maxell played very good on the X-box I burned DVD-R please always say that you are burning DVD-R or DVD+R. I think X-Box might not read DVD+R but I might be wrong.
