  1. I have a copy of Princess Bride... it is one of those dual DVD discs where on one side it is widescreen and the other is full screen. Is it possible to burn both onto one disc and if so how. I would like to know how to do this cause I also have a bunch of two disc DVDs on my hands for the next few days. I was thinking I could burn one side then the other unto the same disc. I would appreciate a quick response. Thanks in advance.

Some might consider this as referring to DVD's you don't own. Please read the forum rules. I assume that the bunch of DVD's you are referring to are dual sided blank recordable ones right?

  2. I looked through all the guides and stuff, there is nothing that really describes what I am looking for. I want all the menus and shyit, but I still both versions of the film. I would appreciate some feedback.

  3. might try dvd2one. don't see why you want two version of the same movie on one dvd. plus if you do quality might not be very good depending on how long the movie is.

  4. good point, but what about the movies with two discs... one containing the film and the other bonus features couldn't I somehow have them on the same disc, but still include the menus?

Look for a guide that tells you how to shrink two movies and put them both on one DVDR. Tha's all you're trying to do, it's just that both movies are the same (except for the aspect ratio).

But why do you want to bother keeping the 4:3 version??

  6. Rip one disc to your HD and mount it with Daemon tools. THen when reauthoring have shrink open up both discs and drag over title1 from each side.

DVD Shrink will do this, but I'll echo other comments, two movies on one disk will look shite, I'd never do it.
You'll have a job keeping menu's and stuff though, can be done, but it ain't an easy process.
BTW, the 'report problem posts' makes interesting reading today

  9. Perhaps another way to do it, if you still want to do it, is to rip both movies to separate folders. Then use TMPGEnc DVD author and bring in the vob files and make your own simple menu to select one of the two titles. A 30 day trial version of this authoring sw is avaiable.
