I have an old TV than only has cable input connection, so I have an old VCR connected to it. When I replaced my DVD player, I connected the old DVD player to this TV using the VCR's video input connection. It worked fine for like a month, but all of the suden it stopped working, I only can hear the audio.

I changed the cables and it didn't help. I had a similar problem with my A/V receiver, the AUX connection doesn't work for video input.

Is there a limitation with this type of connections, that can damage the connector?. If I connect the DVD player to my other TV it plays fine., so I'm sure there is not a problem with the cables or the DVD player itself. If you know something else I can try, please let me know.

I was thinking about that, do you know how many inputs u can have? I would like to have my VCR and DVD connected. I have a Radio Shack close, so I'd go and ask.

I also want to know what happened with the video input connectors of my VCR and receiver.
