    Hi,
I finally got a dazzle and once install I was able to capture right away. but there are some problem here let me give you guys a briefing as to what I need and what I done.

I have been able to do:
capturing from cable and laser disc. I have no frame drop and the quality is the same as those from the original source.

    I need help with this:
capturing from beta and vhs I have the sound in constant running but I get frame drop (or sudden freeze).

is there any solution to my problem cause I have lots of vhs that are needed to convert to cd-r either in vcd format or dvd format.
any help would be truly appreciated.

I am no longer using the Dazzle DVC-II since purchasing an ATI AIW Radeon (I needed a tuner), however I did experience the same problems you are referring to. I never did find a solution. I noticed that I could record from live TV (from the AV output of my VCR) without problems, but not from a tape without experiencing a lot of problems. I even went so far as to take my Dazzle over to a friend's house and try it there with my tape and Dazzle using his computer and VCR. No luck.
I think that you are stuck until Dazzle fixes the problem.
You might try to post your question at:
    http://stop.at/dazzle2
This site is devoted to nothing but the Dazzle capture boards (mostly DVC-II).
If you do find a solution, post it as a reply to this thread so that anyone coming after you will find the solution when searching the forums.
