  1. how to burn dvd to dvd-r on one disc.
    I want to back up my dvds, especially my 7 yr's dvd, i don't need to burn anything but the actual movie, but I want it all on one dvd. help???

  3. DVDShrink will be your best bet- it'll decrypt and resize the file in one step. Search the guides. A few questions: have you checked media compatibility for your Apex player? What's your burning app? You plan on doing the first few tries on a rewritable, don't you?

  4. I would second DVD Shrink. You can use the Re-Author mode to backup just the movie with no extras. It's free for download, all you need is a DVD burning program like nero.

    DVDShrink is about as simple as it gets. For 90% of your movies it's perfect. The other 10% could benefit from an advanced guide or just use DVDDecryptor in main-movie mode.

    So far only 1 movie it couldn't back up (I have 1 legitamate DVD18, believe it or not!) because the main movie was over 12 GB. Running it through twice produced unacceptable results, so I split it to 2 disks via Shrink and it's all good.

What up guys got a problem here i went to best buy and spent good money on the sopranos i got the set home i used dvdxcopyto copy them for a back up i let my friend use the real set he left them out and the dog got a hold of two of them well they have holes in them now i said no problem i have back up's i will just burn another copy of them know matter what software i use and i have a lot it will not let me make a back up off of my copys i even try it on the fly it just won't work some one save me here what will let me read these back up's so i dont have to tell my good friend that he has to buy me new ones its a 4 cd set help me out guys thanks
