I wanted to know the best way to copy a DVD to my HD so I can watch it from my computer, but still have the capability to burn it to a disc later if I need to. I have a ton of movies, but I travel quite a bit and would like to bring some of them along and have full use of all the menus.

rip the disc to your hard drive then use a player like VLC media player to view on your computer. read the guides to your left<<<<<<on how to rip a dvd disc to your hard drive. also search is your friend.
