  1. Hi people,

Does anyboy knows of some MPEG audio editor (mp2 or mp3, but specially for mp2) that doesn't need to re-encode the audio??

I'm searching for very basic audio edition capabilities: Cut, Split, Join, Delete, or Trim, etc.

Could mp3 editors will work flawlwessly with mp2 audio?

    Thanks in advance

I have Cool Edit Pro 2, and I use the filters from http://www.community-media.com/audition_mp2.html. Works great for me.

  3. THANKS!!! Forum Troll

Awesome answer!!! I've been looking for such filter for a long time. That will make my video works a lot more easier and faster. Thx again.

Nevertheless, I'll like to have, additionally, some piece of software that allows me some very simple tasks as trimming, cutting, joining, splitting, etc. already encoded MPEG audio but doesn't decode/re-encode the audio.

Sometimes I need to preserve the best audio quality possible and re-encoding is not the best option. I've seen that kind of stuff for mp3 audio (such as MP3trim), but not for mp2.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
