ABout AC3

I had bought a Panasonic E60, it support dvd-ram / dvd-r,
dvd player can play dvd-ram in left or right channel,
but dvd-r only can play both channel in same time, which left is chinese, right is english,can't choose L/R.
I capture dvd-ram to computer by using Ulead DVD factory 2, and it capture mpg file are in both channel, can't choose L/R
My question are :
How can i convert the mpg file to have L/R channel??

demux your sound track capture the left only as track1 and right only as track2 then re-mux with video as 2 seperate mono tracks.

If the file is a VOB use VOBEDIT->Demux,if the file is MPEG then use TMPGEnc->MPEG Tools->Simple Demultiplex.Then you will have to convert to WAV, then you will have to use Audacity to split channels and create a mono file,then convert to MP2 and finally multiplex with TMPGEnc.

I would recapture the film but use a RCA(composite) to mono plug.

but sometime i use VOBedit can demux to wav file, but sometime only can demux to ac3 files.
May u give me some guide??
