Does anyone know a program that will convert mp3s or wavs to midis? i found a prgoram widi but it sucked becuase it took every possible sound and made it a piano sound, so u coulnd't even tell what song is what...
so is there a program that can do this properly (preferrably a free program)? Also, is there a program that i can just open up an existing midi and make it louder, cause some of my ringtones are really low, but i really love the songs, so if i could only make them a little louder they would be perfect.
thanks in advance

A midi file does not contain any audio, it is an instruction set that uses the hardware on the machine (soundcard, cellphone, whatever) to synthesize sounds, so to convert to midi exactly, you would need virtually every tone in a song, thats why you are only hearing piano tones, because the program you are using to convert has only default piano tones probably.
