Capturing VHS With My ATI Rage Fury Pro

Anytime I try to capture from this certain movie (Waynes World actually) with my ATI Rage Fury Pro (i'm trying to make it into a vcd), something happens a few minuits into the film: most of the bottom part of the screen stays the same and only the top keeps going. This happens with the ATI program and when using the wrapper thing with VirtualDub but the overlay looks normal while it captures... Is this that macrovision thing people talk about? sorry if this has aready been answered... all i wanna do is make this tape playable in my dvd player.

Does the movie play fine when you play it on your TV normally?

yes, even the overlay and watching it looked normal... but after i recorded it and watched it back it was how i described

The tape is copy-protected

if it macrowvision the picture will lock up. I have a tape I can not copy the top picture get all messed up. I even copy the tape to another VCR and made a dupe same thing. I had this problem before some time's if you used another VCR you can copy it and some times not well One tape I copied and the other can not

does anyone know if there is anything made to remove macrovision or a site with the plans to make something? if so please share

It could also be worthy the tweak "Ati_MacroDisable" at
the same site.
The best bet still is the Sima Copy Master box.
