I have a couple video's I've downloaded. They are all captures from a tv tuner card I would imagine.

Problem is that most of them are corrupted. They are in AVI format and playing them with BSplayer (which is the only player that will even play them) it says the vid. is corrupted but will play the vid untilll the point of corruption.

Does anyone know a program that will fix corrupted but in-tact video's.

    thanks in advance
    What... do what??

  2. Mycophiles,

It depends really on what flavour of avi they are.

If you're not sure, use GSpot - it'll tell you.

I'd assume they're DivX of some sort - so try DivFix.

Also, you could try VirtualDub (Video->Scan Video Stream for Errors).

You'll find all of these free apps in the tools section on this site.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.
